We recommend that participants who intend to fly to the conference make arrangements to terminate their flights in Indianapolis (IND). Bloomington Shuttle Service (see below) operates a shuttle bus that makes stops nine times each day at the Indianapolis International Airport, the Courtyard by Marriott, the Hampton Inn, and the Indiana Memorial Union.

The Courtyard by Marriott, located adjacent to the Bloomington Convention Center, is holding rooms for the NMEC conference attendees for a special rate. To receive the special rate, please indicate that you are attending the National Minerals Education Conference 2007 in Bloomington, Indiana. Consider coming early or staying later. Reservations must be made by June 8th, 2007 to receive the special rate. Please check with the hotel to verify specific property features or room accommodations before making your reservation. Some facilities, services, and features may be subject to availability. Please make your reservations early, especially if you have special needs that the hotel can accommodate.
The Courtyard by Marriott is within walking distance of I.U. campus and downtown, and adjacent to the Convention Center where the conference will be held.
